I liked this ad from the US Preventive Medicine Agency for several reasons. First, just the image of a dangerous snake alone will most likely catch a person’s attention and peak their interest in what ever the advertisement is trying to tell him or her. Second, I thought it was very creative to have words, consisting entirely of serious medical conditions, make up the entirety of the picture. This contributes to the main point of the ad, which is the importance of knowing more about diseases that can be prevented. By using this striking visual, the ad is stressing the potential dangers of these disorders to the person viewing it.
