I was really interested in an array of magazine covers that altogether make up a blog titled, “Coverjunkie.” The topic, The Magazine Covers of The Week presented “LineRead,” which had a unique and simplistic cover that was printed with black type and a white back. The Magculture link states, “The printed item brings a gravitas and permanence to the whole project,” referring to the demand print services. The magazine itself has a mixture of both news and comments – some posts will last longer than others. A new editorial theme is emerging in the magazine; the project, “Disconnect and Fracture,” focuses on the “future of visual culture and its relationship with technology.” Overall, I was interested in the magazine right when I saw it because of its creative cover.
