Tu/Th 5:00–6:20 | section FIVE | intro to graphic design | Renée Stevens

I really like the Electric Zoo Festival website because I like its simplicity, while still giving off the vibe that is current and an intriguing graphic. The symmetry with the graphics looks nice with the appropriate amount of white space. All of the links work correctly, and the information is provided in a very clear manner. It also highlights the three main events for each day of the festival, which directs the audiences attention to purchasing a ticket for the event. The colors also play a large part as to why I love the design of this website.

I really dislike the AOL shopping website because there is never actually anything advertised or anything to purchase! It seems like a waste of space and a website. The color tones of the webpage are dull and do not catch the audiences eye as a “go to” website to shop. Every time I have pulled up this page, whether from just being on AOL movies or mail, “I’m Sorry” always stands out and as an online shopper I would never think to come to this website.
