One of the great wonders of the web design world, Mariusz Michalski’s website provides a smooth and intriguing experience. You can scroll up and down the entire page using the three buttons to the right. The sky-like background gives the user the feeling of actually being in the sky. rodcdavis.com, on the other hand, gives the user a feeling of disorganization mixed with a little bit of creepiness. The black-yellow-red combination does not really work this time, I think. Also, some of the text is unreadable because of another text block that’s on top of it. Also, you don’t really know what this site is about or what it is for. It looks like a bunch of random text put together in a very disorganized way. Michalski’s site, on the other hand, presents the user with a purpose and smooth transitions from section to section and a feeling of flying. The only feeling you get from looking at Rodcdavis.com is that of a computer virus coming your way.
